A snippet of a painting by Ernest Mancoba at the Centre Pompidou from Le Paris Noir expo that closed last month.

Summer in Paris can get H-O-T—but lucky for us, most museums are air-conditioned to protect the art (and give us a stylish escape from the heat). It’s the perfect season to cool down while feeding your soul with beauty and your mind with culture. Right now, fashion exhibitions are taking center stage, and I’m especially excited to explore the Grand Palais, which has finally reopened with a fresh new restaurant and a full calendar of events.

As I always say: if you’re a lover of design looking for timeless inspiration, don’t miss the permanent collections at the Hotel de la Marine, Musée des Arts Décoratifs, Musée Carnavalet, Musée Nissim de Camondo, and Musée d’Orsay.

P.S. To help you prioritize your visits, I’ve listed the exhibitions in order of closing dates. You might also notice a few repeats from the spring list because some shows are still running strong and worth the reminder!
