Previously, I have shared that I try to work four day weeks and spend one day off or a few hours doing something to inspire my mind and work. It’s basically artist dates à la Julia Cameron’s prescription in the Artist Way. While I don’t always get to it, the most important is that I continue trying to schedule it into my weeks the same way I schedule a rendez-vous with friends or clients. While it’s always nice to visit an exhibition with someone, I do also really enjoy strolling through a museum at my own pace and allowing my thoughts to move freely in a way they cannot do if I have to be considerate and attentive to another human.

Below, I have listed a few current exhibitions that are on my list this Fall and Winter. However, if you love design and want to be inspired, I highly recommend you also visit the permanent exhibitions at the Hotel de la Marine, Musée des Arts Décoratifs, Musée Carnavalet, Musée Nissim de Camondo, and Musée d’Orsay. Enjoy!
